Sydra is from keokuk, Iowa.  She began her dance training in Texas at the age of two under direction of her mother, Raeann.  She has been a member of "Kids in Motion Dance Company" since she was seven years old.            Sydra has won Dupree dance scholarships and a high score at the International Footloose Competition for her tap solo.  Through her tap skills she was selected to train for a week with a select group of "hoofers" in New York City where in the conclusion of the workshop; performed in an off-Broadway Performance.        She was a Teacher's apprentice for four years and a full-time Teacher for three.  Upon Graduation she attended Kirkwood Community College.        While in High School she was a member of the Keokuk Little Feathers Dance Team and Flag Corp.  Sydra was selected as a member of the Kirkwood Dance Team in Cedar Rapids, IA.  She is sought out for her innovative and creative choreography as well as her ability to connect to students in Teaching the wonderful Art of Dance.  Sydra has one son named Riley.
